Knocking the Bat

Get your weapon (Cricket bat in this sense) knocked for a small price. It’s essential to get this done before you start playing with it in matches to avoid cracking it, or even breaking the handle at times.  So here’s what we do:

• Analyse the quality of the willow, and oil coat it once / twice (if required). Pure linseed oil is used. Drying could take 2 to 3 days.
• Bat is first machine Knocked (8000) & then custom knocked (2000). The most essential parts of the bat like the Bottom & Edges are hand knocked to ensure the best results. This process usually takes 1-2 Days.
